What Difference Have You Made?

today is the last day of November 2015.

i'd like to say that God has been really good in my life along this year. one month left and we'll welcome a new year.

and in this amazing week, i got a big question from someone that had talked about calling to be a teacher:

WHAT DIFFERENCE HAVE YOU MADE?

i am a teacher. i teach children. i mold some souls, little souls that is in their golden time to reach their proper shape. i realize that each of them is special. unique. beautiful. did i do the same boring things when facing them? did i listen to them when they need me? did i make them realize that they are precious? did i make something different that awed them? that changed their life?

if you are an office worker, archithect, doctor, students, businessman, any role you can be, let's make a reflection in this wonderful ending of the year. WHAT DIFFERENCE HAVE YOU MADE? in your home, in your workplace, in your neighborhood, in your school, in your network, everywhere! what the people see in you that makes them smiling and silently thanking you for making a difference in their life?

we have a month left. i'm gonna shut this computer down, pray, and sleep, and start a new day, a new month in the same year, to not regret what i didnt do. but to thanking what i can do: make a difference, no matter how small it is.

Lazy oh Lazy

i was looking for a moment in life where i can be a discipline girl with a neat and tidy schedule draft with detailed to-do list things. and i am. *crying in the corner*

since i was in junior high school, i wrote the daily things i wanna do to motivate me in being a better human being. i just looked back on my elementary school life when i got many "compliments" for my laziness: coming late EVERY DAY, never do homework, and lazy to talk with others.  i walked with my poker face so nobody thought i was stressed out of their words. it's funny how it could motivate me to be a more dilligent girl by using the drafts to remind me about what i should do on that day.

the thing is, i failed many times. i mean, i've made the list on the previous day, but as i wrote before: i use the drafts to remind me, not to force me. *oh yeah, that's the point*. when the laziness is coming, drafts will be drafts, they can't yell at me to wake me up from my playing-phone time, or from my leyeh-leyeh time (from Javanese, means being lazy time), or from my day dreaming time *it's still my favourite time*.

so it has been already about 10 years i make to-do-list notes. paper wasted, ink used, thoughts out, and my struggling for being dilligent and discipline still remains.
commitment, consistency, and continuous are what i need. anybody has idea to keep them safe? i got them but i got problems to keep them. :(

World Without Strangers

world without strangers is boring.
yeah i met so many strangers and they give me so many stories to know.

well, i have a community - actually i have many communities, but this one is discipleship community - that we've been together for about 2 years or more. we make a meeting every two weeks and share everything that happened in our life and get lessons from our mentor or friends' experiences. well, we get many rich things in this community, just like another ones i have, but i find sisters like family, in here.

this little group, consists of 4 growing-up girls and a mother of 2 cute children as the mentor, is a group of strangers. you can say it unique but yeah we're strange for sure. we pray in a house or public place, we talk like children and laugh all the way, we share for hours and still continue the conversation in chat room. i never mean to show how religious we are. i want to show how important a community is in our life.

and the funny thing is, we started it all by being completely strangers. what are we now is something we never imagined. it's awesome!

so, simply greet the strangers with your beautiful and pure smile. may be they need it at that time. may be it's time to start a new friendship. may be it can brighten up your day, and theirs for sure.

Girls: Complicatedly Unique

Many guys asked me about girls, yea because i'm a girl. they are curious how girls react of them, what girls think about them, and what they should do to attract their crushes?

It's funny that i'm not the expert and i'm not the researcher of "the kinds of girls", as you know that girls are complicated. by their minds, attitudes, opinions, especially during pms. i am a girl, but wait, i dont get angry easilly during pms. when mostly girls like romantic surprises or words from their crushes, i'm not a kind of that girl.

How simple it is if i say that we can't measure or judge girls generally because each of the girls is unique. but, it's true! totally! Just like you boys! (except you want to be ordinary, valued generally like your another male friends)"

We can say "mostly". yes, mostly girls like pink. they also like ice cream, cute accessories, shiny things, dolls, hiking, selfie, update cool photos on instagram, got surprises, kiss on forehead, colourful paperbag, wi-fi, dogs, or even wet-tissues!
But, when all girls that read this post comment below and apparently disagree, it will show they aren't in mostly area and they are personally unique.

So what should you do to attract that beautiful girl in your mind?

I have some simple rules, but sometimes mind and a-too-sensitive-feeling complicate them:

1. you like her? be her friend. be with her friends. then you'll find out her cuteness and shabbiness when she's in the circle of friendship
2. you like her? be yourself! why you have to change like a Korean actor when you know she's mad with Korean drama? why you have to spend your savings for future when you read her post in Facebook that she wanted a hundred of roses? and why in the world, you have to pause, or even stop your hobbies because she asked you to? (well yea, boys will be boys, i know what you want) if she doesn't like you, why you guys have to complicate it by changing your style, by starving for a month, or by doing something you dont like? the one who likes you all the way you are, is the worth one.
3. you want to know what's in her mind? ask her! you want to know why she didn't text you for days? ask her! you want to know why she's mad by sudden? ask her! there are two possibilites: a. she'll answer and you'll understand. b. she won't answer and you'll get confused. try to step back and give more time before you get biten.
4. say what you mean, and mean what you say. sweet talk, flattery, is just something that make girls fly. when you don't mean it, they fall and it hurts.
5. believe this: God has prepared someone that is just for you. but you have to know, that God is preparing you too to be the great partner. when you are not in one vision with your "current partner", you still have time to think about it again.

I told ya i'm not the expert but i know a little part where girls want it about (especially me..wahahaha)
